We are pleased to announce that the MONTCLIMA SUDOE project is organizing a seminar on Strategies for managing and preventing drought impacts in forests in the SUDOE mountains that will take place in Barcelona on 30^th September 2021.

Coinciding with World Earth Day, the second seminar of the Montclima project will take place on Thursday 22^nd April from 9h30 to 13h, entirely online. This event, hosted by the Comunidade Intermunicipal de Região de Leiria (CIMRL) in Portugal will be dedicated to the management and prevention of forest fires in Southwest Europe. We are pleased to announce that the MONTCLIMA SUDOE project seminar on natural hazards and climate change in mountain areas will take place in Soria from 20 to 21 October 2020!

Mountain areas are among the territories most affected by natural risks and these risks are expected to increase due to the effects of climate change (more severe droughts, higher average temperatures, changes in the rainfall regime). These risks know no administrative limits and require transnational coordination.
