The final seminar of the SUDOE MONTCLIMA project is scheduled to take place in Toulouse (Cité Administrative de Toulouse, Salle des Ventes) on 23 and 24 november 2022. The meeting will be aiming to share the experience and knowledge generated during the development of the various actions in the project on a dissemination as well as a technical and scientific level.
In particular, new tools and methodologies developed in cooperation by the 9 project partners to improve the management and prevention of 4 natural risks (floods, droughts, erosion and forest fires) in south-west European mountain areas will be presented. In addition, the results obtained in the 6 MONTCLIMA pilot demonstration cases will be described in detail.
The 23rd will be devoted to theoretical presentations in Toulouse, while on the 24th a field trip is planned to discover the STePRIME initiative in Bagnères de Luchon: the first mountain territory in the Pyrenees that has developed a multi-risk strategy for the management and prevention of natural and climatic risks at local level.
Simultaneous interpretation will be available.
